The Rooftop Tavern at Red Rocks Spicy, scenic, and seriously satisfying. Let me start by saying this rooftop view is so majestic it made me briefly consider quitting my job and becoming a full-time mountain enthusiast (until I realized that would cut into my meatball budget). We kicked off our meal with the Italian Nachos—which, fair warning, are spicier than a love affair gone wrong. These things come smothered in Calabrian chile cheese sauce, sausage, banana peppers, and regret (the good kind). I ate one chip and immediately got flashbacks to every time I thought I could handle “medium” salsa. 10/10 would cry again. Next up: the Antipasto Board. This thing rolled up to our table looking like it had just come from a magazine shoot. Meats, cheeses, veggies—all laid out like a Pinterest board had a delicious baby with a deli counter. It was giving "classy picnic on a yacht" energy. Now the meatballs—oh, the glorious meatballs. I don't know what magic Nonna is back there stirring in the kitchen, but these were juicy, tender, and swimming in marinara that tasted like it had stories. I’d name my future child after these meatballs. Sorry, Greg. I didn’t try the Firecracker Flatbread, but just the name makes me think it could fight me—and win. Anyway, if you’re hiking Red Rocks and need to restore your soul and taste buds, climb one more level up to this rooftop gem. Bonus tip: drink a cold one with your Italian Nacho meltdown and bring tissues—for the heat, the beauty, and maybe the existential joy of a perfectly roasted Brussels sprouts salad. Will absolutely be back to burn my mouth all over again.

We went it because we wanted to seat outside. The terrace in the back was really cute. I had the chicken & avocado panini. The bread was toasted to perfection. Someone in our group had a Margherita pizza that also looked good. The nachos are huge. Service was good, they didn't check in on us every 2 minutes which was nice.

It's a fun upstairs restaurant that overlooks the street with two patios, one in front, other in back and an inside eating area also. Fun environment!! The food is VERY GOOD, especially the meatballs and all the different pizzas!! Some of the beer is brewed locally and they have a new one that's local called a carrot beer, don't let the name fool you, it tastes great! (Try a sample first) The employees offer quick and friendly service throughout your meal, they also have knowledge about things to do in the area and surrounding areas. Especially Taani, she's a great server!! The price point is perfect, we will definitely be back!

This place is truly a local gem. I don’t I’ve ever met anyone I didn’t like but my favorite is Ryan, such a solid dude, super friendly, personable, and attentive. Up next I have to say Amelia and the newer gal Rachel are AMAZING too. Friendly and always making sure you have all the food and drinks you want!

Really cool rooftop bar, amazing view, I love that they had little throw blankets by the door in case you got cold. The food was greattttt, the Garlic Bread with Cheese with roasted tomatoes, basil and balsamic glaze (per our waiters recommendation) was amazing. The BBQ chicken pizza was just ok. Service was fast and the staff was nice & helpful.

What a great place to hang out on a Sunday afternoon! The rooftop this time of year was quiet when we arrived. We were the only ones interested in being out on the rooftop but the sun was shining bright and warm and the atmosphere was perfect. We’d only stopped in for wine and a snack to take in the Morrison vibes on this beautiful autumn day but ended up staying for quite awhile enjoying conversation with Ryan, our super cool bartender and the Marinaded Olives (best damn olives we’d had in a long time!!!). We couldn’t have asked for a more enjoyable Sunday experience. Thanks so much!

Incredible time on the rooftop. It’s a gorgeous day and so happy we stopped by. Grilled meatballs, garlic bread with pepperoni, tomato, balsamic: phenomenal. Delicious cocktails to boot. Kerry provided us an amazing experience! Come by and see her! Not to mention the view!

Best food in the town. This has some really good food
